My name is Raquel Mebane and I am a mom to 2 beautiful twin girls.
August 2, 2005 my life basically changed for the better, as that is the
day my girls were born. They were born 4 months early because I
couldn't keep them inside of me anymore. They weighed less than 2 1/2
pounds each, so I call them my miracle babies, being born so early and
weighed so little. Being premies they had to stay in the hospital for
awhile, 2 months later they were coming home. I was very excited that
day when they came home, but when I tried to put the newborn outfit on
them it was WAY to BIG for them. Both of them could of fit into 1 of
the outfits together. It was a struggle trying to find premie outfits
for them. Eventually they got bigger, little by little. Now today
while they are 4 going on 40, they are bigger. I am blessed to have
them in my life as I can not have any more.
There are a lot of babies being born these days and when I was
shopping for my girls, I didn't like the fact that almost everything I
picked up was pink. Pink is not the only color girls wear. So June of
2009, I decided to start crocheting again and as I mainly crochet for
the little ones, I love to crochet for us adults also. I love to
crochet dresses for girl, but if there is something you would like for
me to crochet just let me know and I will do my best to make it. I love to crochet & decided to
crochet for babies. I crochet dresses, diaper covers, headbands, hats
and booties. I also crochet bikinis and bags. Ask me for whatever you
